My Baby Is Going To Perform On A Concert!

Can you believe it? I can't.. but it is true!

Yesterday, we were informed by the school that they are going to put together all the classes and hold a Graduation concert in Nov. So they asked for parents' fullest support by attending and letting their kids to participate in the shows.

All the parents need to do is to pay for the costume which can be brought back home right after the show. It is not much, just about $35. The tickets for each adult to attend the show is $20 per head. I think it is not much to pay for, considering all the efforts and time the teachers and kids have to put in for the show. Without any hesitation, we signed up right away.

This evening, Miss Lee, Chevonne's form teacher showed me the costume she is going to wear. It is so lovely! It is a silver halter top with bright silver sequins, and an absolutely gorgeous turqoise blue dress that looks almost like a tutu. I can't wait to see my darling in that lovely dress.

Out of curiousity, I asked Miss Lee how the toddlers are going to perform since they hardly understand instructions. Well, she said they will be taught some basic dancing steps, but of cos we can't expect them to follow to a T. Chances are, some will follow, others will just dance in their own style. (Hmmm... I think most likely my darling will be the free-style dancer.)

My oh my... my baby is going to perform! Can't wait for the day to come! I think the show is going to be very entertaining and funny. Without a doubt, it is a dream come true for my litte dancing queen. She is going to have a blast since she loves to dance so much... and we are going to have a ball too by just watching her!:)
