Shiya's Vocab

Of late, shiya seems to know a lot of words all of a sudden...

When asking for...

"Mouth"... she would point to her mouth and say "Mao..."

"Eye".. she points to her eye and say "eye"...

"Nose"... she points to her nose and say "no"...

"Teeth"... she would open her mouth and point to her pearlies, and say "Tee"...

"Leg"... she would lift up one leg and say "leg"...

"Tongue"... she would either put her finger into her mouth or stick out her tongue and say "tang"...

"Hair" ... she would brush her hair and say "hair"...

"Hand" she would shake both her hands and say "hand"...

"Stomach"... she would pat her tummy and say "mak..mak.."

"Fingers"... she would fiddle all her fingers and say "pinger"...

"Toe"... she would point her finger to her toes, and say "Toe"

"Ear"... she would either point or pinch her ears.

"Cheek"... she would point her finger to her cheek and say "chik"...

"Neck"... she points to her neck and say "neh"..

"Flower"... she would look around and point to wherever there was either a flower or a picture of flower and say "wah..wer"...haha...

"Puppy"... she would point to our dog and say "wow..wow.."

"baby"... whenever we chance upon a baby, she would point out to us and say "bay..bee"..

Whenever it rains or she sees an umbrella, she would go say "Lay-ning", which is actually "raining".

Now, she also know what star is. She will point to a anything star-shaped and say "stah..."

It's no wonder why people says a young child's mind is like a sponge. We taught many of these words only recently, yet she could memorise them all!

Looks like we have to work harder to feed her eager mind.
