Cheryl was born 2.81 kg at KK hospital at around 00.31 am.
She came quite soon at 37 th week on 25 Sep cos my EDD was 1 0 Oct. Again, like her siblings, she was induced.
She did not cry much when she was born, unlike her cheh cheh, who wailed her lungs out when born.
We love her at first sight. She has very nice and delicate features, and we think that she is the best-looking newborn among the three children. She has high nose like her dad, big eyes with double eye lids (dunno like who yet) and again like all siblings, she also has straight-line across her both palms. I joked with my hubby that his "straight-lined palms" genes are very strong, unlike his curly hair genes. It seems Cheryl also inherited straight hair from me, just like her siblings. Oh, not to mention, I love her cute litte sharp chin. In all, she looks so girlie!
The stay at KK hospital was uneventful except for the irritating shrieking patient calls system that rang non-stop throughout the morning. I could not sleep at all throughout the whole nite. Can you imagine how tired I was after giving birth, yet I was kept awake til the next morning?
I was so aggitated that I had to complain to the nurse manager. She took action upon my feedback immediately and got the facility management to lower the volume. On second nite, I slept like a dead log with the new found peace. I really appreciate the prompt action taken by the manager.
We discharged on 26 Sep, Mon. Chevonne and Gabriel were waiting at the door ernestly to receive us. They swarmed to my arms to see mei mei. Their hands were all over her, trying to sayang her. Hope they will be just as enthusiastic years from now.
